A phone farm is a set of real, physical phones — not emulators, not virtual devices — mounted in a rack, powered and cooled, each with its own internet connection, and controlled from one screen in a browser. Social media teams use phone farms to run many accounts the way platforms expect accounts to be run: on a real handset, on its own connection, at a human pace. A typical unit is one box of 20 phones.

Why use real phones instead of emulators?

Platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube look at the device an account lives on.
