Account Profile and Profile Picture

The Profile tab of an account holds how the account presents itself: display name, bio, link in bio and persona. The account's own page adds a profile picture and posting options. Keeping this in one place means your team always knows what an account should look like.

Which profile fields are there?

  • Display name — the name shown on the profile.
  • Bio — the profile text. The portal warns you above 150 characters, because Instagram cuts the bio off there.
  • Link in bio — add one or more links with + Add link.
  • Persona — who the account is, in a sentence or two, so everyone on your team handles it the same way.
  • Notes — anything else your team should know.

How do I add a profile picture?

Open the account (click its row on Accounts) and click the avatar at the top. Choose an image — JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 3 MB. To change it, click the avatar again; Remove deletes it. The picture then shows next to the account everywhere in the portal — the accounts list, the post queue, filters and the post composer — so your team recognises accounts at a glance. To change the picture on the platform itself, do it in the app on the phone, through the live view.

What are posting options?

On the account's page, Posting options set how posts go out for this account:

  • InstagramAlso share Instagram reels to Facebook, and Post as trial reel (shown to non-followers first).
  • FacebookPost as, and Also share Facebook reels to Instagram.

What else is on the account page?

Numbers — Views, Followers, Following and Platform earnings — which the phone fills in during the day. Until the first reading it says No readings yet. See Analytics.
