Warm-up Plans for New Accounts

A warm-up plan gets a new account ready before its first post. Over one to three weeks the phone uses the app like a real person from the account's niche — scrolling, watching, liking, following — a little on day one and more each day. That gives the account a history and teaches the platform what it is about, so its posts later reach the right audience.

Why warm up an account?

Platforms judge a fresh account by what it did before it ever posted. Scrolling, watching and engaging in the niche is the history a real person would have, and it decides whose feed the account's posts land in later. Almost every problem on a young account comes from too much activity out of a cold start — ramping up over two weeks is the cheapest insurance you have.

How do I create a plan?

Open Automation → Build an account → Warm-up and click New plan (or Start from example for a filled-in sample). The editor has three steps:

  1. Accounts — who warms up. Pick the accounts; each runs on its own phone.
  2. Pace — how fast, and when.
  3. Safety — where it stops.

Then click Save and start, or Save as draft to start later.

Which presets are there?

Standard14 daysWhat we use by default
Quick7 daysOnly for an aged account

The ramp decides how the activity grows: Gentle holds back and picks up late, Even adds the same step every day, Fast does most of the way in the first days.

What does the phone do each day?

You set a Day 1 amount and a last-day amount for each action, and the plan fills the days in between. The Day by day preview shows the result. Actions: Scroll the feed (minutes), Watch to the end, Likes, Follows, Comments, Saves, Story views and Profile visits.

By default a plan starts with 6 minutes of scrolling, a few likes and no follows on day 1, and grows to 22 minutes a day with some follows and comments by the last day. It runs 3 sessions a day between 09:00 and 22:00, with Sunday as a rest day. Spread makes every account a little different, and under Who to engage you can add target accounts and hashtags from your niche.

Which apps can be warmed up?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.

What keeps the account safe?

  • Stop the plan if the app shows an action block — on by default. Carrying on after a block usually makes things worse.
  • Hard limits — a maximum of follows a day (default 10) and likes an hour (default 25), and a gap between actions.
  • The editor warns you when a setting is risky, for example more than 20 follows a day or a warm-up shorter than a week.

What does a warm-up not do?

It does not post your content (that is Posts) and does not create accounts. It does not guarantee reach or growth, it does not mass-follow or spam, and it cannot undo a ban.

How do I manage running plans?

The Warm-up page lists every plan as Running, Paused, Draft, Stopped or Done. Use Pause, Resume, Stop or Delete plan. When a warm-up finishes, the account status changes from Warming up to Active by itself. Warm-up runs use Automation credit.
