Popups and Alerts — When a Phone Needs You
Apps show popups: a rating request, a permission question, a new terms screen. During an automation the phone does not tap these away on its own. It pauses the run and asks you. A bar appears at the top of every portal page, you clear the popup, and the run carries on with the time it has left.
What does the alert look like?
A bar at the top of every page of the portal:
Agent needs you on {phone}: {what it found}
with three buttons:
- Open device — opens that phone's live view.
- Let agent continue — resumes the run.
- × — hides the bar. The run stays paused.
The portal checks for new alerts every few seconds, so the bar shows up without reloading.
What do I do?
- Click Open device.
- Look at the popup and handle it the way you would on your own phone — for example tap Not now or close it.
- Click Let agent continue — in the bar, or on the badge over the phone's screen.
The run resumes where it stopped, with its remaining time.
Why doesn't the phone just close popups itself?
Because some popups matter — a security check, a verification, a changed setting. Tapping them away blindly can cost an account. A person looks once, and the automation carries on safely.
What if I cannot look right now?
Nothing breaks. The run simply stays paused until you continue it, or you click Stop on the phone's page to end it. Other phones keep working.
Where do I see other problems?
The Watchdog page lists everything else that needs you — offline phones, failed posts, accounts that were asked to verify, warm-up sessions that did not run.
